Staff Selection Commission, Eastern Region (SSC ER), New Delhi has given an employment notification for the recruitment of 244 Chemical Asst, Section Officer & Other (Group B & C) vacancies

Applications are  invited from eligible candidates  with  Nationality/Citizenship  for  the  Selection  Posts  indicated  in the Notice from 25-08-2017 to 24-09-2017 up to 05:00 pm

Eligibility criteria 
Nationality/Citizenship:
A candidate must be either:
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the Ist January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) a  person  of  Indian  origin  who  has  migrated  from  Pakistan,  Burma,  Sri  Lanka, East  African  Countries  of  Kenya,  Uganda,  the  United  Republic  of  Tanzania  (Formerly  Tanganyika  and  Zanzibar),  Zambia,  Malawi,  Zaire,  Ethiopia  and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Age : Candidates age should be

18 to 27 years for S.No-1, 8
18 to 30 years for S.No-2, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14
18 to 25 years for S.No-3 to 7, 9
20 to 25 years for S.No-15

Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt. instructions.
 

Essential Qualifications as on  24th Septemember,  2017

Field Attendant (with Multi-tasking): – Matriculation  or  equivalent  pass  with  science  subjects  from  a  recognized Board

Assistant (Architectural Department) : – Diploma in Architecture from a recognized University or Institute

Laboratory Assistant : – (i) Intermediate  or  Senior  Secondary  or  12th pass  with  science  or agriculture subjects from a recognized Board or University and
(ii) Three   years   experience   in   laboratory   work   in   any   reputed laboratory.

Farm Assistant – Pass  in  12th class  or  equivalent  qualification  from  a  recognized  Board  or University  with  a  certificate  course  or  training  in  Agriculture  from  a recognised  institute  and  at  least  one  year’s    experience  of  work  at  an Agriculture   Farm   of   Central   or   State   Government   or   Public   Sector Undertaking, Or, B.Sc (Agriculture)

Laboratory Assistant-III : – 12th or equivalent with Science from a recognised University

Junior Conservation Assistant :– (i) Minimum 10th pass from a recognised Board;
(ii) Industrial  Training  Institute  Certificate  in  subjects  relating  to  Civil Engineering

Conservation Assistant – (i) Minimum 10th pass from a recognised Board;
(ii) Diploma  in  Civil  Engineering  of  minimum  three  years  duration from a recognised Institute.
Junior Zoological Assistant : – Bachelor degree in Science from a recognized University with Zoology as one of the subjects

Junior Geographical Assistant : –  Honours Degree in Geography/Mathematic/Statistics   from  a recognized University
Library and Information Assistant – (i) Bachelors Degree in Library Science or Library  and  Information Science of a recognized University or Institute; and
(ii) Two years Professional experience in a Library under the Central or State  Government  or  Autonomous  or Statutory  organization  or Public Sector Undertaking or University or Recognized Research or Educational Institution.
Library and Information Assistant : (i) Bachelor degree of a recognised University or equivalent, and (ii) Degree  in  Library  Science  from  a  recognised  University  or equivalent
Research Associate (Folk-lore) : (i) Master’s degree in Modern Indian  Language of a recognised  University or equivalent;
(ii) About One year’s research experience in folk-lore studies
 
Research Associate (Bio-Chemistry) : (i) Master’s  degree  in  Bio-Chemistry  or  Organic  Chemistry  or Degree  in  Food  Technology  of  a  recognised  University  or equivalent;
(ii) About  one  year’s  research  experience  in  food  analysis  and nutritional studies
Research Associate (Linguistics) : Master’s  degree  in  Linguistics  or  Comparative  Philology of   a  recognized University or equivalent

Assistant Central Intelligence Officer, Grade-I (Documents) : M.Sc. in Chemistry or Physics

SSC ER 2017 Application Fee & Mode of Payment: Rs. 100 (One hundred only)
Candidate    may    note    that    only    online    applications    will    be    accepted    at www.ssconline.nic.in.
All  Women  candidates  and  candidates  belonging  to  Scheduled  Caste,  Scheduled  Tribe, Physically  Handicapped,  and  Ex-Servicemen  eligible  for  reservation  are  exempted  from paying application fee, as per extant government orders.

Payment can be done through State Bank of India only either in the form of challan, generated on line, or through SBI Net Banking.

Payment can also be made through any Credit or Debit Card.

The  Examination  will  comprise  of  a  Computer  Based  Examination
